I’ve been running and dialing in the new filtration system for Sandy Shores well all week, I received the parts for the new chlorine pump and have gotten it dialed in. If you remember one of the problems I was having the new chlorine pump wasn’t injecting enough chlorine into the water ( D.O.H requires that we keep a chlorine residual in distribution of 0.20 or higher PPM) so I ran the old pump that doesn’t intergrade with the new system electrically like the new pump. It is working great!

But please, due to the fact that we are into an unprecedented heat wave I am asking people to conserve water as we are already pumping a lot more water than we usually do this time of year this will help ease the burin on our system and if you haven’t already heard there is a chlorine shortage due to a power failure at a local manufacturing facility.
