FRIDAY LETTER MARCH 4,2022

Springs.

Skylar and I have between down pours ben busy doing well point maintenance (cleaning well points to increase gallons per minute) and clearing stickers and Salomon berries that have been encroaching in on well points. Lots of good progress I will include photos in my next Friday letter.

Skylar’s training.

Skylar is scheduled to take his pre-exam classes first one is for his W.D.M 1 (water distribution manager 1) certification and the other one is for his W.T.P.O 1 (water treatment plant operator 1) certification these classes are three- and two-day classes that give him knowledge on how to be a water operator and water treatment plant operator and help prepare him for the tests to get certified for those positions.

The first class is for the W.D.M 1 cert on April 3rd through the 5th once he finishes that he will take his test the second class is June 14th and 15th for his W.T.P.O 1 cert and will take that test. When he passes his tests, he will be considered operator in training by D.O.H and in November that’s his one-year anniversary he will obtain both of his certifications and officially become our back-up operator.

another broken pipe on lower Sandy Shores. Such a costly nuisance !! Hopefully this
can be permanently resolved in the near future.
