New fencing.
Fence specialist showed up a week early to install the new fencing around the new Sandy shores filtration plant, and it looks great! Completing the Sandy Shores well project. We also had a new bigger gate (from eight feet to fourteen feet wide) and a small section on each side of the gate installed down at the springs. This is money well spent, not only do we look professional, but we are helping to ensure that we are doing everything we can protect our water sources.

As always, your excellent care/concern and maintenance of the DWA system are much appreciated.
Your overview of cleaning the well points is most helpful. I think it may be fair to say that many of us who rely on DWA for our clean water supply don’t have a sense of how it gets to us and why it is of such high quality (or perhaps even think about this).
I figure there will be opportunities again in the future to tour the facilities and would encourage members and their kiddos to check things out.
